The journey takes about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. Prices typically range from $15 to $25 for a one-way trip.

9:00 AM - Arrival and Breakfast: Start your day with a hearty breakfast at one of the local cafes. Try traditional Vietnamese dishes like banh mi or pho. One of our personal favorites is 'Ellie's Café Hoi An'. Since we were in Hoi An for a longer period of time, we needed something healthy in the morning. The smoothie bowls from Ellie got us through the morning!
10:00 AM - Explore the Ancient Town: Wander through the UNESCO-listed Ancient Town, with its narrow streets, historic buildings, and vibrant atmosphere. Don’t miss the Japanese Covered Bridge and the Assembly Hall of the Fujian Chinese Congregation.
Afternoon Activities
12:30 PM - Lunch at a Local Restaurant: Indulge in some local cuisine at a riverside restaurant. Cao lau, a noodle dish unique to Hoi An, is a must-try. Our personal recommendation would be Madam Lau, with her fantastic authentic Vietnamese food.
1:30 PM - Visit a Tailor Shop: Hoi An is famous for its tailor shops. Get a custom-made outfit at a fraction of the price you’d pay back home.
3:00 PM - Riverside Stroll and Shopping: Take a leisurely stroll along the Thu Bon River and explore the local markets. Pick up some souvenirs, handmade crafts, or local snacks.

Evening Activities
5:00 PM - Cooking Class: Join a cooking class to learn how to make Vietnamese dishes. This is a fun and interactive way to experience the local cuisine.
7:00 PM - Lantern Lit Dinner: As night falls, Hoi An transforms with beautiful lanterns illuminating the streets. Enjoy a romantic dinner by the river, soaking in the magical ambiance. We had a great experience at The Hoianian, a Wine Bar with great food and stunning views. Insider tip: try to get one of the two tables on the balcony for the best experience!
8:30 PM - Return to Da Nang: After a mesmerizing evening, return to Da Nang.

9:00 AM - Breakfast in Hoi An: Have a light breakfast at a local cafe, perhaps a fruit smoothie or banh mi. Like mentioned above; go to 'Ellie's Café Hoi An', one of our personal favorites.
10:00 AM - Bike Tour: Rent a bicycle and take a guided tour through the countryside, visiting rice paddies, local villages, and scenic spots.
Afternoon Activities
12:30 PM - Lunch at a Local Restaurant: Stop for lunch at a charming local eatery. Try some fresh seafood or vegetarian dishes.
1:30 PM - Beach Time at An Bang: Spend a few hours relaxing at An Bang Beach. Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, or a beachside massage. Our favorite spot was coming from the main entrance facing the sea, go to the left until you see a small hut and a squeaky table, that's the place! Friendly and great and affordable food and drinks.
3:30 PM - Visit to Tra Que Vegetable Village: Explore Tra Que, known for its organic farming. Take a short tour and perhaps join a farming activity.
Evening Activities
5:30 PM - Sunset River Cruise: Take a boat ride on the Thu Bon River to enjoy the sunset. This is a peaceful way to see the town from a different perspective.
7:00 PM - Dinner at a Night Market: Head to one of Hoi An’s night markets for a variety of street food and snacks. Enjoy the lively atmosphere and sample different dishes.
